Were you born with pale sensitive skin or maybe dark sensitive skin or perhaps the kind of skin that just seems able to take sun, water and weather without a single complaint or wrinkle for that matter? Most of us though have little issues with our skin that we want to be conscious of. Meaning that we want to look after whatever our skin needs.

Other than water and lots of it for the skin, what can those with sensitive or dry skin do to keep the skin looking youthful and healthy? Well, the truth is we have been attending to our skin for thousands of years and if someone started to write a list of all the recipes that have been created to produce beautiful flawless skin the list would probably wrap around the earth (24,000 miles approx.) at least once! Of course I don’t know that for sure but the list would be very long.

Cleopatra who reportedly had very beautiful skin is thought to have kept it so by bathing in goat’s milk, horse milk with honey and/or aloe vera. Rose water, palma rosa, rose geranium and rose petals all have positive influence on the appearance of the skin. Then we have yogurt, different kinds of mud, avocado and lemon that are also good to give the skin a glow.

And depending on what part of the world you come from what you use will be different because access to plants will be different. We can also get creative by trying our own combinations by muscle testing to see what natural source will have the best effect for you.
